No fue tarea fácil. El coliseo es enorme y todo los huecos parecen iguales, por eso me guie en varios huecos y parte del fondo que se ve en la fotografía original. Para colmo estaba llena de turistas asomados. Con paciencia y agobiando un poco pude dejar el hueco para mí y con ayuda de mi mujer pude hacer las fotos necesarias para encontrar la posición y ángulo de la cámara. Trabajo muy difícil. Las lentes cambian y no hay manera de cuadrar exactamente como la fotografía en blanco y negro.
It was not an easy task. The coliseum is huge and all the holes look the same, so I was guided in several holes and part of the background that you can see in the original photograph. On top of that it was full of tourists looking out. With patience and a little bit of crowding I was able to leave the hole for myself and with the help of my wife I was able to take the necessary pictures to find the right position and angle for the camera. A very difficult job. The lenses change and there is no way to square up exactly like black and white photography.
Ahora con ayuda de un programa de retoque fotográfico uno las dos fotografías lo mejor que puedo sin deformar ninguna. Por ello se puede ver la falta del mismo ladrillo que queda en blanco y negro y en color. Con mucho orgullo uso el hueco de un "Highlander" y como no tengo esa prenda que usan, me he fotografiado con una bermuda también inventada por el imperio británico pero en otro lugar más tropical.
La valla metálica es la misma y la visión de los militares y la mía es lo mismo pero con algo de más turistas.

So you can see the lack of the same brick in black and white and in colour. I proudly wear the hollow of a "Highlander" and as I don't have that garment they use, I have photographed myself with a pair of Bermuda shorts also invented by the British Empire but in another more tropical place.
The metal fence is the same and the view of the military and mine is the same but with a bit more tourists.
Por cierto mi mujer llevaba una fotografía impresa de los escoceses que dejó en la pared para buscar el ángulo y los turistas se agolparon para observar que era el mismo lugar. En segundos se llenó de personas y se acabó la sesión fotográfica. Así que este es el resultado.

Incidentally my wife was carrying a printed photograph of the Scots which she left on the wall to look for the angle and tourists flocked to observe that it was the same place. Within seconds it was full of people and the photo session was over. So this is the result.
