En Septiembre celebramos el día de los derechos humanos y el tema escogido por la sala de prensa de la Procuraduría General de la Nación acá en Colombia es la migración, motivo por el cual fui invitada a dar testimonio de mi proceso migratorio junto con mi proceso de integración con las instituciones del estado.

In September we celebrated Human Rights Day and the theme chosen by the press room of the Procuraduría General de la Nación here in Colombia is migration, which is why I was invited to give testimony of my migration process along with my integration process with state institutions.

Mis vivencias y experiencias en este proceso migratorio, tal vez el tema escogido viene más por la masificación de la ola migratoria, conviertiendonos en una población vulnerable donde en muchas ocasiones hemos sido blanco de violación de derechos.

Es un vídeo institucional que va a ser transmitido en la sesión del día 9/09/2022, estamos en un proceso de integración donde muchas de la barreras que nos impedían sentirnos aceptados ya han sido superadas pero todavía falta mucho por realizar, el camino es largo no es fácil empezar de 0, pero es mucho más cuesta arriba si las políticas migratorias no ofrecen facilidades para la integración.

En este orden de ideas, vamos avanzando en un país cuyas políticas migratorias eran obsoletas de hecho la población no tiene tradición de recibir extranjeros por que siempre ha sido un país, por su propio conflicto interno, de mucha migración, por lo que esto ha sido un gran cambio en la leyes migratorias del país, esto ha impulsado el crecimiento, económico, cultural del país.

My experiences in this migratory process, perhaps the chosen theme comes more from the massification of the migratory wave, turning us into a vulnerable population where in many occasions we have been the target of rights violations.

It is an institutional video that will be transmitted in the session of 9/09/2022, we are in a process of integration where many of the barriers that prevented us from feeling accepted have already been overcome but there is still a long way to go, the road is long and it is not easy to start from 0, but it is much more uphill if migration policies do not offer facilities for integration.

In this order of ideas, we are moving forward in a country whose immigration policies were obsolete in fact the population has no tradition of receiving foreigners because it has always been a country, for its own internal conflict, of much migration, so this has been a great change in the immigration laws of the country, this has boosted the growth, economic, cultural growth of the country.

En esta entrevista lo que se quiere captar el como se siente el migrante que tan bien se siente, como ha sido la acogida, como fue mi llegada a este país, la mayoría hemos llegado de forma irregular, pero estamos en una gran campaña de regularización llamada: Visibles.

Lo cierto es que somos muchos los que estamos en este país dando lo mejor de cada uno nuestra experiencia y conocimientos, no hay destacar lo negativo sino lo positivo de esta coyuntura.

En lo que si coincidimos los 4 entrevistados es que ninguno, tuvo entre sus planes migrar a otro país, pero las circunstancias nos llevaron a cada uno de tomar la decisión de venir a este país que nos abrió las puertas para poder mejorar la calidad de vida del núcleo familiar.

In this interview what we want to capture is how the migrant feels, how well he/she feels, how has the welcome been, how was my arrival to this country, most of us have arrived in an irregular way, but we are in a great regularization campaign called: Visibles.

The truth is that there are many of us who are in this country giving the best of our experience and knowledge, we should not highlight the negative but the positive of this situation.

What the 4 interviewees agree on is that none of them had among their plans to migrate to another country, but circumstances led each one of us to make the decision to come to this country that opened the doors to improve the quality of life of the family nucleus.

Todos llegamos aquí con un motivo que podríamos decir que es el común de todos que es un futuro mejor, que el objetivo para que las personas decidan partir y comenzar de 0.

Esta actividad nos pone en la palestra para dar a conocer, las trabas que tenemos y que queremos superar, el hecho es que es importante dar a conocer en parte la situación de muchos de nosotros, que llegamos con la esperanza de continuar con nuestras vidas aportando nuestra experiencia para el desarrollo individual y colectivo de este hermoso país.

Esta invitación para realizar este micro me da la oportunidad de poder ser parte de esa Venezuela positiva, emprendedora y trabajadora que somos, estas campañas institucionales ayudan a aliviar los roces de la xenofobia y poder integrarnos a esta sociedad que nones muy distinta a la de mi país pero si tiene algunas diferencias.

We all arrived here with a motive that we could say is common to all, which is a better future, which is the goal for people to decide to leave and start from zero.

This activity puts us in the limelight to make known, the obstacles that we have and that we want to overcome, the fact is that it is important to make known in part the situation of many of us, who arrived with the hope of continuing our lives contributing our experience for the individual and collective development of this beautiful country.

This invitation to make this micro gives me the opportunity to be part of that positive, enterprising and hardworking Venezuela that we are, these institutional campaigns help to alleviate the friction of xenophobia and to integrate into this society that is not very different from that of my country but it does have some differences.

Empezar de 0 no es fácil pero debemos ser conscientes que debemos adaptarnos al sitio donde estamos, adoptar las costumbres, los deberes las reglas, respetar sobretodo como seres humanos las diferencias que podamos tener, no es por gusto sino por necesidad que muchas personas se asientan en otro país.
