THE GOODBYE OF A ROSARY
The mother cried downcast
pressed a rosary against her chest
while praying devoutly
his supplications to God...
A pain seized him
and bought her tears
that white handkerchief
that one day dried the sweat
of which lies lost...
A child by his side comforts him
with her hidden tears
without shedding a tear
but i was dying inside
The time of departure has arrived
a choir of tears
that sound like screams
deafen the corridors
after the suffering body
who is on his way to the grave...
The mother remains tight to her rosary
next to the consolation child
who tenderly hugs her grandmother
because his father is gone...

EL ADIOS DE UN ROSARIO
Lloraba cabizbaja la madre
apretaba un rosario contra su pecho
mientras rezaba con devoción
sus súplicas a Dios...
Un dolor le embargaba
y compraba su llanto
aquél pañuelo blanco
que un día secó los sudores
del que yace perdido...
Un niño a su lado le consuela
con su llanto escondido
sin brotar una lágrima
pero moría por dentro...
Llegada la hora de la partida
un coro de llantos
que parecen gritos
ensordecen los pasillos
tras el doliente cuerpo
que va camino al sepulcro...
La madre sigue férrea a su rosario
al lado del consuelo niño
que con ternura abraza a su abuela
porque su padre se ha ido...
