No sé si se estila alrededor del mundo agradecer a Dios por los logros alcanzados y por tantas otras cosas. En mi caso, por tradición familiar solemos agradecerle a Dios y a la Virgen todo lo bueno que nos ocurre y cuando nos sentimos derrotados también nos aferramos a ellos.
I do not know if it is customary around the world to thank God for the achievements and for so many other things. In my case, by family tradition we usually thank God and Our Lady for all the good things that happen to us and when we feel defeated we also cling to them.
Para mí sorpresa, es tradición en la universidad, por lo menos en mi facultad, que en la programación de los actos de graduación lo primero que se planifica es la misa de acción de gracias y lo más gratificantes es que de mi promoción asistimos todos.
To my surprise, it is a tradition in the university, at least in my faculty, that in the programming of the graduation ceremonies the first thing that is planned is the thanksgiving mass and the most gratifying thing is that we all attend my class.
Así que ese día le di gracias a Dios por el triunfo que significaba para mi, en ese momento, haber culminado exitosamente mi carrera de pregrado, sino por tener unos compañeros maravillosos, con quienes disfruté ese camino universitario con sus alto y bajos.
So that day I thanked God for the triumph that it meant for me, at that moment, to have successfully completed my undergraduate career, but for having some wonderful classmates, with whom I enjoyed that university path with its ups and downs.
