Ya van varios días en cuarentena aquí en Venezuela ya que en este país las autoridades para variar hicieron algo bien y cerraron los vuelos y las fronteras antes que la mayoría de los países en latinoamérica, lo cual ha traído como consecuencia que tengamos muy pocos casos de Covid-19, sin embargo se sigue contagiando mucha gente y por eso se han tomado medidas más drásticas y los comercios para ir a hacer las compras solo funcionan hasta mediodía y ese es el tiempo que tenemos para hacerlas.
We have been in quarantine for several days here in Venezuela since in this country the authorities for a change did something right and closed flights and borders before most of the countries in latin america, which has resulted in us having very few cases of Covid-19, however, many people is still getting infected and that is why more drastic measures have been taken and the shops to go shopping only work until noon and that is the time we have to go shopping.
En mi casa soy yo el elegido para ir de compras y algunas veces me acompaña mi esposa cuando la situación lo amerita ya son tres semanas que tengo saliendo en estas condiciones salgo una o dos veces cada semana y hoy me tocó hacer un buen abastecimiento porque la situación política esta también un poco tensa, pero ese es un tema que no me gusta tocar ni aquí ni en ninguna parte, realmente detesto la política.
In my house I am the chosen one to go shopping and sometimes my companion my wife when the situation warrants it, it is already three weeks that I have to go out in these conditions I go out once or twice every week and today I had to make a good supply because the political situation is also a little tense, but that is an issue that I don't like to touch on here or anywhere, it really detests politics.
Aquí debido a los pocos casos solo sabemos del amigo, del amigo, de un amigo que dice que conoce a alguien que tiene Covid-19, por lo que mucha gente tiene sus teorías conspirativas al respecto de la situación de cuarentena y también hay otros que dicen de plano que eso es falso aquí y en todo el mundo (la ignorancia y sus cosas), además de los imprudentes claro, como una señora que se quitó el tapabocas para toser porque no lo quería ensuciar… Señor perdónala, o los vecinos de la esquina que hicieron su mega parranda con familiares y amigos con parrillada y demás, pero también están otros que son realmente intensos con sus precauciones, esos son lo que mejor me caen.
Here due to the few cases we only know the friend, of a friend, of a friend who says he knows someone who has Covid-19, so many people have their conspiracy theories regarding the quarantine situation and there are also others that say outright that this is false here and around the world (ignorance and its things), in addition to the reckless, of course, like a lady who took off her medical face mask to cough because she did not want to dirty it ... Mi Lord forgive her, or the neighbors of the corner that made their mega party with family and friends with barbecue and others things, but there are also others who are really intense with their precautions, those are what I like best.
No importa en qué país del mundo estemos, todos debemos en algún momento en esta cuarentena, salir a comprar la comida y suministros que necesitamos, lo cual aquí en Venezuela se ha vuelto complicado, debido a la subida de los precios y las restricciones y a parte no le están vendiendo gasolina al público en general, pero cuando toca toca. Este es un tema realmente serio en el cual se arriesga la vida literalmente y no sabemos hasta cuando durará.
No matter what country in the world we are in, we all must at some point in this quarantine, go out and buy the food and supplies we need, which here in Venezuela has become complicated, due to the rise in prices and the restrictions already they are not selling gasoline to the general public, but when we have to do it, we do it. This is a really serious topic on which you literally risk your life and we don't know how long it will last.
Hay que ser óptimos en todo en estos días al salir de compras, debemos tener todo precisado, los lugares a donde vamos, los productos que necesitamos y además tener un plan B, en caso de no conseguir algún producto, y luego al llegar dejo los zapatos en la puerta, luego paso y me lavo las manos para luego quitarme la ropa en el patio y pasar de inmediato a bañarme y luego de esto es cuando me dedico junto con mi esposa limpiar y almacenar lo comprado, ya no se ni cuantas veces me lavo las manos en un día.
We must be optimal in everything these days when shopping, we must have everything specified, the places where we go, the products we need and also have a plan B, in case we do not get a product, and then when I arrive home I leave the shoes at the door, then I walk by and wash my hands and then take off my clothes in the backyard and immediately I take a shower and after this is when I dedicate myself together with my wife to clean and store what I bought, I don't even know how many times I wash my hands in one day.
No sé cómo se lo estarán tomando en otros países o en las demás ciudades de Venezuela, pero aquí por lo menos en mi ciudad, Puerto Ordaz la mayoría de la gente, aunque cumplen por obligación con las normas como el tapabocas, se lo toman muy deportivamente, con tapabocas flojos o medio sueltos, he visto a algunos saludar de beso en la mejilla y estrechando las manos una y otra vez, también vi a unas señoras comprase unos refrescos luego tomar con sus manos unos pitillos y colocarlos en las botellas y luego quitarse el tapabocas y beber tranquilamente, que Dios nos cuide a todos.

I do not know how are they taking it in other countries or in other cities of Venezuela, but here at least in my city, Puerto Ordaz, most people, although they may have the obligation to comply with the rules such as the medical face mask, they take it very sporty, with loose or half-loose medical face mask, I have seen some people greeting with kiss on the cheek and shaking hands over and over again, I also saw some ladies buy some soft drinks then take some straw with their hands and put them in the bottles and then take off the medical face mask and drink quietly, God take care of us all.
