¡Vamos a subir la montaña!
Hola Hivers, espero todos estén muy bien.
Nos fuimos de paseo al Cerro del Hotel Maracay, una montaña donde se practica senderismo a en la ciudad de Maracay, Venezuela.
Esta ruta es muy concurrida por muchísimas personas.
Hi Hivers, I hope you are all very well. We went for a walk to the Cerro del Hotel Maracay, a mountain where hiking is practiced in the city of Maracay, Venezuela. This route is very popular with many people.
Me encanta realizar actividades al aire libre, me conecto con la naturaleza y libero mi mente de los pensamientos diarios, ahorita en cuarentena hay algunos lugares a dónde podemos ir a realizar actividad física porque son abiertos y tienen el suficiente espacio para tener una buena distancia social.
I love doing outdoor activities, I connect with nature and free my mind from daily thoughts, right now in quarantine there are some places where we can go for physical activity because they are open and have enough space to have a good social distance.
La primera parada es conocida como "la primera estación" pero realmente se llama "la lomita", es un espacio llano donde hay árboles con sombra que nos permiten descansar y ver ampliamente la ciudad.
The first stop is known as "the first station" but it is really called "la lomita", it is a flat space where there are shady trees that allow us to rest and see the city widely.
Luego de esta existen dos paradas más antes de llegar al "container" que es como los lugareños nombraron la llegada, ya que en ese lugar está un container pintado donde todos llegan a mirar la ciudad y tomar aire para regresar. Muchos llevan su desayuno y comen ahí antes de empezar la bajada.
Hereafter there are two more stops before reaching the "container" which is how the locals called the arrival, since there is a painted container where everyone comes to look at the city and take a breath to return. Many bring their breakfast and eat there before starting the descent.

El cerro del Hotel Maracay es parte del Parque Nacional Henry Pittier, unos de los parques protegidos más grandes de Venezuela, con una basta cantidad de especies en fauna y flora. Hay quienes continúan el camino más allá del "container, esos suelen ser atletas de alto rendimiento.
The hill of the Hotel Maracay is part of the Henry Pittier National Park, one of the largest protected parks in Venezuela, with a large number of species in fauna and flora. There are those who continue the path beyond the "container, those are usually high performance athletes.
Nosotras llegamos agotadas pero felices de haber culminado, tomamos aire, desayunamos y regresamos a casa. Esperando volver pronto a maravillarnos con la vista y sudar.
We arrived exhausted but happy to have finished, we took a breath, had breakfast and returned home. Hoping to return soon to marvel at the view and sweat.
