Hace dos años, una de mis mejores amigas abrió una escuela llamada Baloo. Ella y yo nos conocimos trabajando en un centro psicológico de niños, siendo “misses” entre comillas porque hacíamos más la función de psicólogas que de maestras, pero para los padres y alumnos, éramos sus misses. Comenzamos a ser amigas ahí y después reforzamos nuestra amistad en la maestría, en la cual estudiamos psicoanálisis.
Two years ago, one of my best friends opened a school called Baloo. She and I met working in a children's psychological center, being "misses" in quotes because we were more like psychologists than teachers, but for the parents and students, we were her misses. We began to be friends there and later we reinforced our friendship in the master's degree, in which we studied psychoanalysis.

Cuando la veía con los niños de su salón que tenían aproximadamente año y medio, me sorprendía y admiraba su paciencia y amor hacia ellos y el trato con los padres, tenía mucho tacto y la adoraban. Siempre supe que si ponía una escuela, le iba a ir muy bien. Creo que tanto las escuelas y restaurantes como negocio son lo más pesado qué hay. Si eres directora y convives muy poco con los niños, no es pesado, pero si te adentras a tu trabajo y disfrutas desde la convivencia con tus alumnos, es lo más agotador qué hay.
When I saw her with the children in her room who were about a year and a half old, I was surprised and admired her patience and her love towards them and her treatment of her parents, she was very tactful and they adored her. I always knew that if she started a school, she was going to do very well. I think that schools and restaurants as well as business are the heaviest thing there is. If you are a director and you spend very little time with the children, it is not heavy, but if you go into your work and enjoy living with your students, it is the most exhausting thing there is.
Recuerdo que cuando salía de kreaplay, después de estar de 9 de la mañana a 2 de la tarde con niños de 2 a 3 años, salía agotada y todo el día estaba cansada, realmente es muy cansado, no solo era enseñarles, si no también estarlos checando para que no les pasara nada, porque en un segundo se peleaban o se caían y lastimaban. Regresando a Baloo, la escuela de mi amiga, el proyecto está muy lindo y más porque están preparando a las maestras, pagándoles diplomados para que se sigan preparando y entiendan mejor la estructuración de los niños.
I remember that when I left kreaplay, after being from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon with children from 2 to 3 years old, I left exhausted and all day I was tired, it really is very tired, it was not only teaching them, but also be checking them so that nothing happens to them, because in a second they would fight or fall and hurt each other. Returning to Baloo, my friend's school, the project is very nice and even more so because they are preparing the teachers, paying them for diplomas so that they continue to prepare and better understand the structure of the children.

Creo que los mejores negocios, son los que siguen preparando intelectualmente y desarrollando habilidades de sus trabajadores, no solo para que mejoren en lo laboral, si no también para que se sientan parte del proyecto y se sientan tomados en cuenta. Realmente no se en otros países, pero en muchos negocios de Mèxico, los trabajadores son explotados laboralmente y humillados, lo más triste es que si fallan en algo, los corren sabiendo que en dos segundos encuentran un remplazo.
De nuevo, regresando a Baloo, al conocer lo cariñosas que son las directoras como las misses con los niños y las habilidades que siguen fomentando en ellas, mi hermana decidió meter a mi sobrina Marcela, desde que entró ha sido la más feliz, todos los días sale contenta de la escuela y ha conocido muchas niñas con las que ha creado una amistad muy linda.
I believe that the best businesses are the ones that continue to intellectually prepare and develop their workers' skills, not only so that they can improve at work, but also so that they feel part of the project and feel taken into account. I really don't know about other countries, but in many businesses in Mexico, workers are exploited and humiliated, the saddest thing is that if they fail at something, they are fired knowing that in two seconds they will find a replacement.
Once again, returning to Baloo, knowing how affectionate the directors are, like the misses, with the children and the skills that they continue to foster in them, my sister decided to include my niece Marcela, since she joined she has been the happiest, all the days she leaves school happy and has met many girls with whom she has created a very nice friendship.

El jueves fui a su festival y graduación, llegue tarde porque me quede dormida, pero mi mamá me contó que bailaron flamenco y por lo menos vi cuando pasó a la tarima con su bata de graduada. Se veía preciosa, tenía la cara pintada de León y una sonrisa de oreja o oreja. Cuando me vio se emocionó mucho, tanto que fue a donde estaba a abrazarme y sentarse en mis piernas, minutos después la maestra le comento que tenía que regresar con sus compañeras porque ya iban a comenzar a entregar los diplomas. Me emociona ver a mi sobrina tan contenta pero también ver el increíble proyecto que creo mi amiga desde cero y con mucho esfuerzo.
On Thursday I went to her festival and graduation, I was late because she overslept, but my mom told me that they danced flamenco and at least I saw when she went on stage with her graduation gown. She looked gorgeous, she had the painted face of Leon and a smile from ear to ear. When she saw me she was very moved, so much so that she went to where she was to hug me and sit on my lap, minutes later the teacher told her that she had to go back with her classmates because they were going to start handing out the diplomas . I am excited to see my niece so happy but also to see the incredible project that my friend created from scratch and with a lot of effort.
