Entrando la noche del sábado 12 de noviembre de 2022, después de un largo día de trajín, estuve recorriendo varios sectores de la ciudad, puesto que de regreso a casa, quedé gratamente sorprendida al ver las hermosas y llamativas decoraciones navideñas, con las cuales las calles caraqueñas nos anuncian que llegó la Navidad y con ella toda la alegría que esta época del año representa.
Así que dicho esto, decidí dirigirme y hacer una obligatoria parada en la emblemática plaza Francia, conocida popularmente como la plaza Altamira, ubicada en la urbanización del mismo nombre, en el famoso municipio Chacao del estado Miranda, en Venezuela. Donde de antemano sabía que me deleitaría con un espectacular decorado navideño, porque esa plaza todos los años nos sorprende, luciendo ornatos más hermosos e imponentes que los del año anterior y por supuesto en esta oportunidad no fue la excepción.
Me conseguí con un lugar lleno de personas que con gran alegría recorrían todos sus rincones y se fotografiaban, mientras disfrutaban de la presencia de los distintos adornos navideños que estaban colocados estratégicamente a todo lo largo y ancho de la plaza, así como de la imponente decoración e iluminación de su famoso obelisco.
Por supuesto, yo no me quedé atrás y contagiándome con todo ese alborozo, también me dispuse a hacer mi correspondiente recorrido asi como, aprovechar la oportunidad para fotografiar esos preciosos motivos navideños que tanto entusiasmaban a todos los que se acercaran a ellos. Al punto que hasta me divertí mucho haciendo un posado en una hermosa mariposa de colores especialmente dispuesta para eso.
Por otra parte, tomé fotos desde distintos ángulos de la plaza, con el objeto de mostrarles en lineas generales lo hermoso del lugar. Una de las fotografías que más gusto me dio tomar, fue la del obelisco y su reflejo en el Espejo de Agua. Como era de noche, los colores del reflejo eran intensamente tan reales que casí no se podía diferenciar cual de los dos obeliscos era el verdadero.
Me agradó mucho haber visitado la plaza y con ello haber retomado el disfrute de la Navidad con el tradicional recorrido nocturno por la ciudad, ver los juegos de luces, los adornos, las guirnaldas y a la vez contemplar la decoración de los sitios más emblemáticos. Como podemos recordar, estos dos últimos años fueron de pandemia e impidieron que pudiéramos cumplir con nuestras tradiciones y de disfrutar del acostumbrado regocijo que sentimos durante esta temporada del año.
Este año la plaza de Altamira se vistió de gala, con sus mejores adornos y con la novedad de ser interactiva, es decir, permitiendo al público tocar los adornos que en esta ocasión estaban pensados para ser utilizados en el posado fotográfico, donde fui testigo de cómo familias enteras se turnaban para fotografiarse de diferentes maneras y tener un bonito recuerdo de esta Navidad

Entering the night of Saturday, November 12, 2022, after a long day of hustle and bustle, I was touring several sectors of the city, since on my way back home, I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful and striking Christmas decorations, with which the streets of Caracas announce that Christmas has arrived and with it all the joy that this time of year represents.
So, having said that, I decided to go and make an obligatory stop at the emblematic plaza Francia, popularly known as Plaza Altamira, located in the urbanization of the same name, in the famous Chacao municipality of Miranda state, in Venezuela. Where I knew beforehand that I would be delighted with a spectacular Christmas decoration, because that square surprises us every year, showing off more beautiful and impressive ornaments than the previous year and of course this time was no exception.
I found a place full of people who happily walked through all its spaces and took pictures, while enjoying the presence of the various Christmas decorations that were strategically placed throughout the length and breadth of the square, as well as the imposing decoration and lighting of its famous obelisk.
Of course, I wasn't left behind and, spreading with all that joy, I also set out to make my corresponding tour as well as to take advantage of the opportunity to photograph those beautiful Christmas motifs that so excited all those who approached them. To the point that I even had a lot of fun posing on a beautiful colorful butterfly specially arranged for that purpose.
On the other hand, I took pictures from different angles of the square, in order to show you in general terms how beautiful the place is. One of the pictures I was most pleased to take was of the obelisk and its reflection in the water mirror. As it was at night, the colors of the reflection were so intensely real that it was almost impossible to differentiate which of the two obelisks was the real one.
I was very pleased to have visited the plaza and thus to have resumed the enjoyment of Christmas with the traditional night tour of the city, seeing the lights, the decorations, the garlands and at the same time contemplating the decoration of the most emblematic sites. As we can remember, these last two years were pandemic and prevented us from fulfilling our traditions and enjoying the usual rejoicing that we feel during this time of the year.
This year the Altamira square was dressed up, with its best decorations and with the novelty of being interactive, that is, allowing the public to touch the decorations that this time were designed for use in the photographic posing, where I witnessed how entire families took turns to be photographed in different ways and have a nice souvenir of this Christmas.
