The DHF has been poorly spent. Perhaps decentralization is no solution to poor governance decisions such as the allocation of resources.

Another way to start countering the inflation from the DHF would be to create a proposal that allocates directly to Hive account@null, burning the reserves and preventing them from being released to the market. If you get it ahead of the return proposal, that forces stakeholders to support that, if the DHF is to be kept, which in itself raises the bar for other projects.
