I give it a try, even though I am far from being a pro in editing or photography. To be honest, I never used Photoshop or Gimp, I just like to take pictures and recently I just have my smartphone at hand. The definition of art is more or less a subjective perception so if that is not what this community is aiming for please let me know.
My aim for this picture was to highlight the often neglected green Chili pepper. It is the red ones that get the most attention and by using the color splash feature you can bring the less vibrant green to life besides putting it in the focus of the picture.
These are our homegrown Chili peppers. Every year we are planting about 10-20 Chili plants, they only bear fruits once and when it is time I dry them for use throughout the year.
