This is one of my favorite Titans wins ever. So many reasons come to mind. 2019 was such a special and fun season. This was a time when the Titans were really turning their season around. The Titans looked as they've looked since the Steve McNair days. I distinctly remember feeling like that watching Tannehill play against the Raiders in this game. A.J. Brown further solidified himself as a legit up and coming star WR. He was special in this game. Derrick Henry was good as ever as well.
The offense just absolutely put on a clinic two years ago in Oakland, California. What a better way for the Titans to say goodbye to the city?
I remember growing up kids in my neighborhood and on the bus etc., would always tease me about the 2002/03 AFC Championship Game where the Titans were defeated by the Oakland Raiders, 41-24. They would all just say '41-24' all of the time, very annoying. Well now as I write this throwback post, this is another reason why I like this win so much. Beating the Oakland Raiders in Oakland was a smidge of revenge from seventeen years prior, with a pretty similar final score.
Also I feel like the Raiders and Titans colors and logos clash well and just look cool together.
But anyway, this game was close for basically the entire first half until the second half when the Titans really took over by their sheer force of offensive firepower. I mean they were just going off on the Raiders. Raiders QB Derek Carr and HC Jon Gruden the rest of the Raiders couldn't do anything to keep up.
The Three Amigos Tannehill, Brown, and Henry ALL went off. All scoring multiple TDs, and helping the Titans accumulate 552 total yards of offense on this day. Tannehill and Brown connected on one of my favorite TDs between the two of them ever! Tannehill gets hit while throwing the ball 50 yards downfield and A.J. grabs it in stride, breaks a tackle and takes it all the way for 91 yard TD connection, just beautiful.

This is one of my favorite wins by these more recent Titans. All-around the team competed well. The Titans would improve to 8-5 while the Raiders would fall to 6-7.
