Former inside linebacker Randall Godfrey had a short, but pretty sweet time with the Titans from 2000-2002 appearing in 38 games, and starting 35. He also played in 3 playoff games for the Titans, starting twice.
Godfrey may have only been a Titan for three of his twelve seasons as a pro, but Godfrey enjoyed his best pro season as a Titan. That season came in 2000. Here's what his superb stats looked like that year:
- Second-Team All-Pro
- 121 Total Tackles
- 2 Interceptions (1 returned for a TD)
- 3 Sacks
- 5 Forced Fumbles
- 8 Passes Defended
That 2000 season was his best season by a significant margin and it's the only season he won any type of award. That's gotta be one of the best defensive seasons by a Titan ever! I am surprised he isn't brought up more often. I'm glad to write about him!
Godfrey also played for the Cowboys, Seahawks, Chargers, and Redskins. He retired after the 2007 season. He recorded 850 tackles in 170 games played.
I have literally no clue what the purpose of this video is, but hey its pretty positive and it features some of Godfrey's highlights as a pro!
Titans vs Commanders Madden 23 Game!
A pretty dominant W against a not as common opponent in the Commanders. Robert Woods was looking like Randy Moss in this one.
