Since the Titans were the highest seeded AFC team to be eliminated, I guess a consolation prize is that the Titans coaching staff get to visit Las Vegas to coach the AFC Pro Bowlers in the annual NFL Pro Bowl. It could seem pointless at first but hey maybe in some ways this could benefit the Titans?
Head Coach Mike Vrabel and company could get to know players around the league more and make some connections in general. Free Agency pick ups in the future? It's always good to make a good impression in general among players around the league.
Also I think it would benefit Mike Vrabel the coaching staff, and I assume even GM Jon Robinson, to be around modern day NFL stars. Get to know their strengths and weaknesses. Perhaps tactically in future games against the players, or perhaps also to get a better understanding of the athletes and maybe draft players accordingly if that makes any sense. Like body size and speed and just understand up close and personal why some of these stars are successful.
Mike Vrabel is already known to act like a player frequently during practices and drills. Here's Vrabel with who looks like Titans legend Jurrell Casey. Src
Even when scouting collegiate prospects. Src
Maybe Vrabel and this staff can learn a lot in general from coaching these NFL stars for a week or however long they'll be coaching for.
It will also just be cool to see more Titans representation in general!
Two Titan Pro Bowlers, Two All-Pros, Vrabel is probably going to win Coach of the Year, now this little bit of what I would consider good news considering ya know, the Titans are already eliminated.
The year may have ended in a tough way, but there's still some cool stuff happening after the season for the Titans!
It gives me more of a reason to watch and root for the AFC Frankly. Not too shabby.
The Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur and his coaching staff will be coaching the NFC's Pro Bowl Team. Interestingly, Matt LaFleur was the Titan's offensive coordinator back in 2018.
Well, Go AFC!!!
