I was expecting the Titans to maybe trade up last night, but nope they stay put and draft arguably the best lineman in the Draft in Northwestern's Peter Skoronski.
Personally, I love the pick. That isn't saying much because I pretty much am supportive of anything the Titans do in theory until I am given reason not to. Buuuut still. I do like the pick! I have not heard a single thing bad about him. I've heard he can be an All-Pro at guard while being more than capable at tackle as well.
I like the pick too because I said in a previous post I want the Titans to focus on offense and the best available player and I feel like they did just that. Skoronski is tough and very athletic and smart. He looks like a stud to be honest. The Titans offensive line last season was crap, so this is a perfect player for the Titans' needs.
Skoronski is only 21, entering the Draft as a Junior, but he has started 33 games in his career. He was an All-American in 2022 and was All-Big Ten three times! Twice first-team, and second-team as a freshman.
In interviews he seems like a really good dude.
Very solid pick up. Likely a day one starter!
I was lazy speed wise with this post the Titans are going to pick soon with their third round choice. I am behind but I will get there!!
Welcome to Tennessee Peter, TITANUP!!!!!
