Pretty tired but at the same time I had the urge to make a little Titans post.
Had a fun time in this game that I played almost four months ago now. I threw some pretty awesome touchdown passes at the 8:43 mark and the 11:14 mark.
These games are really a different experience for me personally when I watch them. When I play them, I am way too into the game and worried about winning. Also, of course, I am only looking at certain areas of the field when I am playing. When I re-watch them, I can see the whole game, like it's an actual game. It's a pretty fun feeling on a personal level I guess LOL.
Player of the game had to be Tannehill. Perfect pass rating and four touchdowns with zero interceptions.
But yes, to the real life Titans.
The Titans only drafted a single receiver but they did sign some undrafted receivers. Undrafted players are always so mysterious. Never any sort of announcements usually.
One receiver they signed caught my eye, is Jacob Copeland.
Copeland has fair collegiate stats and solid tape. Appears to be a good all around athlete. Not jaw dropping but more than solid in like, explosiveness, shiftiness, speed and even leaping. In addition to those gifts, Copeland seems pretty gritty and unafraid of contact which is great. His overall size is about average, but he seems quite muscular.
He played four years at Florida before transferring a year and playing at Maryland. He caught 112 passes for 1,742 yards and 11 touchdowns in that span.
There's even this interesting mini documentary about Copeland, which is mildly surprising for a guy that went undrafted. Seems like he had a lot of challenges growing up, hopefully he can change his life with the Titans! There's plenty of opportunity for him in the Titans WR room!
I'm hoping Copeland is a diamond in the rough!!!
There's also this viral clip of Copeland from five years ago. His mom walked out when he picked Florida. Apparently he surprised a lot of his family by choosing Florida. His mom and some others were wearing Alabama gear... LOL. Just pretty interesting and kinda funny.
