Woody Campbell is a former running back that played college ball for Northwestern and was good enough for the Oilers to choose him with pick number 242 of the 10th Round in the 1967 NFL Draft.
Woody had a fairly productive five year career spent entirely with the Oilers. His best years came in his first two seasons. As a rookie he earned his first and only Pro Bowl honors thanks to his 647 yards from scrimmage and 6 total touchdowns.
His second season he had similar production. He had 23 more yards from scrimmage and six total touchdowns again, but his yards per carry went down by nearly a full yard. Still a decent season.
Campbell played for three more seasons but his production was not the same. He retired after the 1971 season after playing in 50 games, starting 34 times. He finished his career with 2,202 yards from scrimmage, 80 receptions and 15 total touchdowns. Not too shabby.
Love learning about those old Oilers running backs! Campbell also served in the Vietnam War.
Titans vs Jags Madden 23 Game
Don't face the rival Jags all that often. I always try to smash them whenever I get the chance!
