Saludos amigos artistas! espero que la estén pasando supr bien en sus vacaciones!
Hace unos días realicé un dibujo muy especial para una cliente, ella queria dar a su esposo como regalo de aniversario un retrato de su hija que falleció hace años cuando era una jovencita.
Su padre aun la recuerda con mucho cariño y solo tenia una muy pequeña foto de recuerdo, y siempre la miraba con nostalgia, mi amiga pensó que un retrato un poco más grande y que resaltara aun más los rasgos de la joven seria un regalo especial.
Utilice como referencia esta pequeña fotografía, sin embargo tuve que editarla para descubrir algunos rasgos que se perdieron con el pasar del tiempo.
Utilicé lápices de grafito sobre una cartulina blanca, con unas medidas de 15 x 21 cm. Una de las cosas que me gustó de este dibujo en especial fue el cabello, en la imagen original no sedistingue mucho la forna del cabello, sin embargo yo le dediqué un poco más de tiempo tratando de hacer unos trazos mas realistas o detallados.
Al esposo de mi clienta le esncantó el resultado, me dijo que se conmovió mucho y me dejo un mensaje de agradecimiento. Realmente es gratificante saber que puedes dar una pequeña alegria a esas personas que han perdido a seres queridos.

A few days ago I made a very special drawing for a client, she wanted to give her husband as an anniversary gift a portrait of her daughter who passed away years ago when she was a young girl.
Her father still remembers her very fondly and only had a very small photo as a souvenir, and always looked at her with nostalgia, my friend thought that a slightly larger portrait that would highlight even more the features of the young girl would be a special gift.
I used this small photograph as a reference, however I had to edit it to discover some features that were lost with the passing of time.
I used graphite pencils on a white cardboard, measuring 15 x 21 cm. One of the things I liked about this drawing was the hair, in the original image the shape of the hair is not very distinguishable, however I spent a little more time trying to make more realistic or detailed strokes.
My client's husband loved the result, he told me he was very touched and left me a message of thanks. It is really gratifying to know that you can give a little joy to those people who have lost loved ones.
