Hola a todos los increíbles artistas que hacen vida en esta comunidad, vengo una vez más por aquí para compartirles una de mis más recientes creaciones; esta es muy especial porque la realicé ENTRE AMIGAS. Por tercera vez nos hemos reunido tres amigas de la vida y a la vez de #hive, nos une el interés común de aprender y crear.
Hemos planificado varias actividades aprovechando la visita de la amiga Hive account@katiuskamata, ya hemos realizado dos mini talleres además de salir a comer y pasear por el parque. El primer mini taller trató sobre el tejido de amigurumis, el segundo fue de bisutería y el tercero ha sido este en el que participé y estoy encantada con lo aprendido. Hello to all the incredible artists that make life in this community, I come here once again to share with you one of my most recent creations; this one is very special because I made it BETWEEN FRIEN FRIENDS. For the third time we have met three friends of life and at the same time of #hive, we are united by the common interest of learning and creating.
We have planned several activities taking advantage of the visit of the friend Hive account@katiuskamata, we have already conducted two mini workshops in addition to going out to eat and walk in the park. The first workshop minister was about amigurumi knitting, the second was about costume jewelry and the third was this one in which I participated and I am delighted with what I learned. La facilitadora para este taller fue mi hermana Hive account@linita quien desde hace muchos años se ha dedicado a aprender y practicar sobre el arte de pintar sobre tejas. Le pedimos que nos dictara un taller con lo básico y ella gustosamente aceptó. Lo primero que realizó fue la lista de materiales básicos; nos pidió que empezaríamos con los que teníamos a la mano y ella nos facilitó las tejas. En este taller estuvimos presentes mi hermana, la amiga Wendy y mi persona, también nos acompañó mi sobrina Hive account@aarolita aunque no pintó nos dió mucho ánimo para trabajar. Yo logré reunir parte de los materiales que se pidieron para empezar el mini taller:

🖌️ Pinceles.
🖌️ Teja limpia y seca
🖌️ Pinturas al frío.
🖌️ Gel escarchado.
🖌️ Lápiz de grafito.
🖌️ Borrador de lápiz.
🖌️ Envase con agua.
🖌️ Trapito para secar los pinceles.
🖌️ Dibujo impreso de mi elección.
🖌️ Cera líquida (opcional)

The facilitator for this workshop was my sister Hive account@linita who for many years has been dedicated to learning and practicing the art of painting on tiles. We asked her to give us a workshop with the basics and she gladly accepted. The first thing she did was to make a list of basic materials; she asked us to start with what we had on hand and she provided the tiles. In this workshop my sister, my friend Wendy and I were present, my niece Hive account@aarolita also joined us, although she didn't paint she gave us a lot of encouragement to work. I managed to gather part of the materials that were requested to start the mini workshop:

🖌️ Brushes.
🖌️ Clean and dry tile
🖌️ Cold paints.
🖌️ Frost gel.
🖌️ Graphite pencil.
🖌️ Pencil eraser.
🖌️ Water container.
🖌️ Rag to dry the brushes.
🖌️ Printed drawing of my choice.
🖌️ Liquid wax
(optional)

🎨 Procedimiento: para empezar este tipo de creaciones lo primero que debemos hacer es asegurarnos de que la teja esté limpia y seca.

🎨 Procedure: to start this type of creations, the first thing to do is to make sure that the tile is clean and dry.

🎨 Luego vamos a pintarla con una pintura al frío del color terracota o similar al de la teja, esto en caso de que la teja tenga algunas manchitas así como la mía. Una vez que la hemos pintado la dejamos secar.
🎨 Previamente mi hermana le abrió a cada teja un hueco por el cual vamos a pasar el agarradero o cuerda para guindar. Este hueco lo perforó con un taladro siempre humedeciendo con agua esa parte superior de la teja.

🎨 Then we are going to paint it with a cold paint of terracotta color or similar to the color of the tile, this in case the tile has some stains like mine. Once we have painted it we let it dry.
🎨 Previously my sister opened a hole in each tile through which we are going to pass the handle or rope to hang it. This hole was drilled with a drill, always wetting the upper part of the tile with water.

🎨 Una vez seca esa pintura terracota elegimos el color base que tendrá nuestra teja, yo elegí un color morado suave. Cubrí toda la teja con dos manos de pintura permitiendo que secara cada capa muy bien.
🎨 Luego la facilitadora nos indicó hacer un difuminado por toda la teja o por los bordes solamente. Para esto debemos tomar un pincel redondo, seco y humedecerlo de pintura (preferiblemente más oscura que la de la base). Frotamos el pincel con el trapo hasta descargar el exceso de pintura, después pasamos ese pincel con movimientos circulares por sobre la teja. Repetimos hasta lograr pintar toda el área elegida.

🎨 Once the terracotta paint is dry we choose the base color that our tile will have, I chose a soft purple color. I covered the entire tile with two coats of paint allowing each coat to dry very well.
🎨 Then the facilitator indicated us to do a blurring all over the tile or only on the edges. For this we should take a round, dry brush and moisten it with paint (preferably darker than the base). Rub the brush with the cloth until the excess paint is removed, then pass the brush with circular movements over the tile. We repeat until we have painted all the chosen area.

🎨 Cuando haya secado la base de pintura procedemos a transferir el dibujo seleccionado a la teja, para ellos vamos a rayar con el lápiz por la parte de atrás de la hoja todas las líneas del dibujo. Que queden bien oscuritas.
🎨 Colocamos el dibujo sobre la teja y remarcamos para que se copie el dibujo fácilmente y luego empezar a pintar. Si te parece puedes sujetar la hoja con un poquito de cinta adhesiva.

🎨 When the base paint has dried we proceed to transfer the selected drawing to the tile, for them we are going to scratch with the pencil on the back of the sheet all the lines of the drawing. Make sure they are very dark.
🎨 Place the drawing on the tile and mark it so that the drawing can be easily copied and then start painting. If you like you can hold the sheet with a little bit of tape.

🎨 El siguiente paso es poner manos a los pinceles y jugar con la creatividad. Algo que me encantó de este taller es que la facilitadora nos permitió dar rienda suelta a la imaginación y pudimos combinar los colores a nuestro gusto. En mi caso trabajé con los que tenía disponibles y me encantó el resultado. Como podrán ver, solamente rellenamos el dibujo sin aplicar técnicas complejas. Espero pronto tener un segundo taller para aprender a sombrear y demás técnicas de pintura.

🎨 The next step is to get hands on the brushes and play with creativity. Something I loved about this workshop is that the facilitator allowed us to give free rein to our imagination and we could combine the colors to our liking. In my case I worked with the ones I had available and I loved the result. As you can see, we only filled in the drawing without applying complex techniques. I hope to have a second workshop soon to learn shading and other painting techniques.

🎨 Es la primera vez que pinto sobre tejas, la experiencia me encantó. La amiga Hive account@katiuskamata estaba también muy emocionada elaborando su obra de arte. Con seguridad podrán ver y conocer de su experiencia próximamente. Una vez más quiero agradecerles a ambas por aceptar y participar en estos encuentros que han sido muy enriquecedores en todo sentido.

🎨 It's the first time I paint on tiles, I loved the experience. My friend Hive account@katiuskamata was also very excited about her artwork. 🎨 Al finalizar todo el proceso de dibujo mi hermana aplicó cera a cada una de las tejas y se logró ver un acabado brillante muy bonito. Sobre esa cera yo aplique el gel escarchado en algunas partes del dibujo. ¡Quedó precioso!

🎨 At the end of the whole drawing process my sister applied wax to each of the tiles and a very nice shiny finish was achieved. On top of that wax I applied the frosted gel on some parts of the drawing. it turned out beautiful!
