In view of the fact that the spontaneous and semi-constructive style of "Llovizna" has been well received, I was motivated to replace the trend with another theme; now, on the front face of a lion. This new painting, a little more thoughtful, I find it fun, the color palette used is extravagant. I look at it as an experimental work. I would like to, because it is great interest, know your opinion about it.

On a dark and stained background, I have drawn freehand, directly with a brush, the figure that is the object of the comment, the face of the lion.

At this level of creation, to achieve the volume effect of the lion's complexion, on the aforementioned dark background, still taking advantage of its watercolor capacity, at the moment of contact with water, applied a base pigment, and printing mobility and With different pressures or forces, the background pigments can be made to distil, achieving degradations and the illusion of the volume of the forms, more or less monochromatic, which, in turn, will serve as a guide, so that when applying the colors, they do not remain of the color. all planes, this also helps to understand the volumes of the form.

Here I worked and developed details exclusively in the eye area.

In this part, I started the process of painting more fluidly, taking into account creating a balance of colors in the entire area of ​​the face.

Continuing the discursive thread of the previous idea, I think I have reached the desired balance in the area of ​​the face. However, it should be noted that he also pursued high contrasts in the Fauvist style. The balance in question included the opposition between warm and cold colors.

After the creative work of Fránmar, the artistic work was finished, placed on the easel.
