Empecé haciendo esta figura parecida a un huevo, la cual sería el cuerpo de la tortuga.

I started by making this egg-like figure, which would be the body of the turtle.

Luego de tener el cuerpo, empecé a agregarle los detalles en la caparazón y le agregué la cabeza. Como pueden ver son formas muy sencillas.

After I had the body, I started to add the details on the shell and added the head. As you can see they are very simple shapes.

Le agregué las patas delanteras y traseras de esta forma, pues quería simular que iba nadando.

I added the front and back legs in this way, as I wanted to simulate swimming.

Lo delinee y agregue sombras; ustedes pueden dejarlo así si quieren, pero en mi caso, yo le agregué algo de color.

I outlined it and added shadows; you can leave it like that if you want, but in my case, I added some color.

Escogí un marcador azul claro (ustedes pueden hacerlo con lo que tengan a la mano) y empecé a pintar solo algunas zonas.

I chose a light blue marker (you can do it with whatever you have on hand) and started painting just a few areas.

Luego escogí un color verde oscuro y lo agregue en las partes que había dejado en blanco. ¿Les gusta la combinación de colores?.

Then I chose a dark green color and added it to the parts I had left blank. Do you like the color combination?

Sentí que el dibujo había quedado algo soso, así que decidí agregarle un fondo azul claro y una especie de sombra con un azul mas oscuro.

I felt that the drawing was a bit dull, so I decided to add a light blue background and a kind of shadow with a darker blue.
