Greetings my dear creative friends, I hope you are very well, it is a pleasure to greet you again from my blog.
The month of January has been full of eventualities in my personal life, which has caused me some stress and anxiety. When I feel overwhelmed by situations and begin to lose the serenity that characterizes me is when I take some time to reconnect with my creative side, doing some crafts or learning a new technique. Learning new things helps me to redirect all my energy to something totally unrelated to what worries me, so it allows me to relax for a moment before returning to reality and look at everything with a different perspective.
On Sunday afternoon I was busy with crafts, but I really missed coloring and line drawings, so I started looking for ideas on Pinterest, that's how I came across this very different and entertaining way of drawing figures on gridded sheets. I thought this activity was great, because it is fun, easy, simple and above all very pretty.
I like the technique and I think it is excellent for working with children because it requires paying attention and following the graphic patterns to the letter in order to form the figures. What I found most interesting and useful about this technique is that with it I can learn to make my own embroidery patterns with the cross stitch technique that I like so much.
In this publication I only share with you my first practices with some very basic patterns because, in spite of being simple, you must pay a lot of attention to follow the chart. I reiterate that none of this is intended to be art, it is simply an activity that relaxes me and that I enjoy very much. Thank you all for reading, I bid you farewell wishing you a happy evening and a great week. Blessings.
