Good morning friends of the Hive digital platform, I am Rafael Márquez Coronado, better known as Ramaco. It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you with the intention of showcasing my work as a visual arts professional from Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela, the place where I grew up and which gave me the opportunity to create in the artistic field, my follies and beliefs born from the love of a painter crazy to teach his stories and follies through a paintbrush.
Welcome to see my work on my digital blog:
On this occasion, I want to showcase my skill with a simple landscape, which has the following technical description:
Artwork Identification Sheet. Title: The Landscape from the Red Sun to the Orange Sun.Author: RamacoTechnique: India ink, watercolor, watercolor pencils, and white acrylic paint on FABRIANO cardstock. Camera: Panasonic LUMIX FZ47. Digital editing software: Adobe Photoshop (for digital modifications) and PowerPoint (to convert images to JPG format).Date: 2025.
The landscape from the red sun to the orange sun.
Explanation of the artwork's creation:
- Before applying the India ink, I sprayed the surface with water using a brush, as shown in the slide.
2.- Next, I will show how, using a brush dipped in ink, I create the first ink wash.
3.- As I progress in creating the landscape, you can see that I am simulating washes that resemble trees along the horizon line. It is important to note that I am currently arranging these washes, which will later become a beautiful landscape with all the artistic detail of the work I am presenting today.
4.- Some strokes that will form part of the landscape.
5.- Starting to add details, my friends, observe how the curved lines on the still-damp surface simulate the wild vegetation of the landscape.
6.- This part of the explanation is very beautiful. Pay attention to the image where you can see several dots made with a brush and India ink. Well, my friends, all those dots you see me making will become part of the leaves of the lush bushes in the landscape.
7.- Look, my friends, in this particular section I added some details with watercolor and colored pencils, showing how the artwork is coming along. You can see several planes, such as the wildflowers in bloom, the riverbed, the flowering bushes on the horizon, and the sky, where many birds fly, enjoying the scenery.
8.-The main detail present in this part is the red sun on one side of the sky, reflected in the river, which creates the movement of the water flowing through it.
9.- Some digitization for the original presentation of this artwork, which is titled:
The Landscape from the Red Sun to the Orange Sun.
