Hello to everyone in this community and fellow art lovers! I'm currently obsessed with a ship (couple) from the YouTube/Amazon Prime series "Helluva Boss," made up of the characters Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, who represent Lust and a clown/artist, respectively. The series takes place in Hell. The reason I like this pairing so much is because they're both very much in love and tend to be very affectionate when showing their love. That's why fans don't hesitate to draw them in cheesy situations... like the drawing I'm going to show you today 💕
In the series, we saw that Fizzy isn't very good in the kitchen, so Ozzie usually takes charge of preparing the food. But we're sure Asmodeus wouldn't hesitate to teach Fizzarolli, or at least let him help with things the little one can handle (Fizzarolli has robotic arms and can be a bit clumsy sometimes ☝️).
For my drawing, I wanted to draw them cooking together, and since I wanted to make it a GIF, I focused on the parts I could make animated, deciding on both of Fizzarolli's arms and Asmodeus's eyes (I also thought about their tails, but discarded that idea during the process). Once I made the sketch in my notebook, I transferred it to digital and opened it in the Medibang Paint app to outline it and make the necessary adjustments. I drew the moving parts on separate layers.
Next, I moved on to color. I admit I took quite a while on this part, because I couldn't decide on the colors I would use for Fizzarolli's aprons and hat, but once that problem was solved, I worked on the cape with the shadows and highlights.
As for the background, I initially drew some lines to suggest the rest of the kitchen. However, I discarded that option and opted for a simpler background, to avoid making it too cluttered and also to avoid dying in the attempt, haha. A simple blur and some textures were all it took to finish it.
In the case of GIFs, I usually export the project to a .PSD format to work on it later in Photoshop, where I use the "Timeline" tool to create a sequence of images. I hide and reveal layers to give the illusion of movement. So far, this is the process I use for GIFs. It's a bit tedious for complex movements, but for simple things like this drawing, it works quite well ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los dibujos! Actualmente, tengo una fijación hacia una ship (pareja), de la serie de Youtube/Amazon Prime, "Helluva Boss", compuesta por los personajes Asmodeus y Fizzarolli, quienes son la representación de la Lujuria y un payaso/artista, respectivamente; la serie, transcurre en el infierno. La razón por la cual, me gusta tanto esta pareja, es porque ambos están muy enamorados y suelen ser muy cariñosos a la hora de demostrar su amor, por eso, los fans no dudamos a la hora de dibujarlos a ambos en situaciones cursis... como el dibujo que vengo a mostrarles el día de hoy 💕
En la serie, vimos que Fizzy no es muy bueno en la cocina, así que Ozzie, suele encargarse de preparar la comida. Pero, estamos seguros de que Asmodeus no dudaría a la hora de querer enseñarle a Fizzarolli o por lo menos, dejarle ayudar en cosas de las que el más pequeño, pueda hacerse cargo (Fizzarolli tiene brazos robóticos y puede ser algo torpe a veces☝️).
Para mi dibujo, quise dibujarlos cocinando juntos y como quería volverlo un gif, me enfoqué en las partes que podría hacer que tuviesen movimiento, decidiéndome por ambos brazos de Fizzarolli y los ojos de Asmodeus (también pensé en las colas de ambos, pero lo descarté en el proceso). Una vez que realicé el boceto en mi cuaderno, lo pasé a digital y lo abrí en la app Medibang Paint, para proceder a delinearlo y hacerle los ajustes correspondientes. Las partes que iban a moverse, las hice en capas aparte.
Luego, pasé al color. Admito que tardé bastante en esta parte, porque no me decidía en los colores que usaría para los delantales y el gorro de Fizzarolli, pero una vez que ese problema estuvo resuelto, realicé la capa con las sombras y brillos.
En el caso del fondo, al principio había dibujado algunas líneas para hacer la mención del resto de la cocina. Sin embargo, descarté esa opción y preferí irme por un fondo más sencillo, para no hacerlo tan sobrecargado y también, para no morir en el intento jaja Bastó con un difuminado y algunas texturas para tenerlo listo.
En el caso del gif, suelo exportar el proyecto a un formato .PSD para trabajarlo luego en Photoshop, en donde uso la herramienta llamada "línea de tiempo", para crear una secuencia de imágenes en las cuales, suelo ocultar y hacer visibles capas y dar la ilusión de movimiento. Hasta los momentos, es el proceso que uso para los gifs, es algo tedioso para movimientos complicados, pero para cosas sencillas como el de este dibujo, funciona bastante bien ✨
