I admit this is a bit of a Hail Mary #HiveBloPoMo post - the Wednesday Walk I planned to do, using some of the bazillion mushroom pictures I took over the summer (I was going to call it a Mushroom Meander) got derailed since I can't find the file with all of my edited photos! And naturally I only discovered it with just over an hour to go before the UTC time for the 24th runs you - yikes!
Â
Â
So instead I dipped into a folder on my hard drive that says, "not used in posts yet" and found a bunch of shots from November 6th, 2019. So my walk today will be of the first half dozen wait, no scratch that because I found two more shots I want to use eight shots that caught my eye.
As always, a quick shout out to Wednesday Walk host, - be sure to hop over and take a peek at his latest, Wednesday Walk - Fort Taber, which I'm gonna check out as soon as I hit "publish" on this!😂
Last bit - these were taken with my Nikon affixed to my tripod, in my Durham New Hampshire yard. All were resized, then cleaned up a bit with PicMonkey - mostly the exposure and sharpness.
A Wayback Wednesday Walk from November 2019
Â
Â
1. Definitely different from earlier in the month this year - the trees were already wicked bare by the first week of November 2019.
Â
Â
2. But still have lots of dandelions blooming.
Â
Â
3. Speaking of lions, can you see why I've always called this, "Lion Rock"?
Â
Â
4. And even though it's been a couple of years, I can tell (especially given the photos around it...lol) that this is the view above Lion Rock.
Â
Â
5. Lone Leaf
Â
Â
6. And I thought this hole riddled leaf looked cool...
Â
Â
7. ... so naturally I had to hold it up to the sun and get some shots.
Â
Â
8. And a Tufted Titmouse silhouette among the acorns still clinging to the tree branches to end this wayback walk around my yard.
Â
Â
Happy Wednesday walking everyone!
