Jdalmu is another foodie yotutuber. I started following him around the same time I was following Estikk's channel, as they are friends and used to collaborate with each other. They have a lot of videos together. At first I didn't like his videos, I felt that he lacked a little more charisma, but with time he got better and better and it was already common for me to consume his videos along with other Spanish foodies with channels on youtube.

Going through the first videos of his channel, the ones you can still see, he didn't start it with food, that was a niche that later he picked up and now he is quite successful, but in his beginnings he used to do a lot of nonsense. Pranks in the street, fooling around with his friends. If I had seen him back then, I probably would have passed on him, because he did everything I hated about youtube videos, even though the kids probably loved it.

It is because of covid, that several Spanish foodie videos exploded, a lot of people started to follow this kind of channels. They increased their visualizations, increased their subscribers, etc. Like others I have reviewed and this one being part of that group, his channel was having a success and now he is enjoying it. Al repasar los primeros vídeos de su canal, los que aún se pueden ver, no lo empezó con comida, eso fue un nicho que luego cogió y ahora tiene bastante éxito, pero en sus inicios solía hacer muchas tonterías. Bromas en la calle, tontear con sus amigos. Si lo hubiera visto en aquella época, probablemente habría pasado de él, porque hacía todo lo que odiaba de los vídeos de youtube, aunque probablemente a los chavales les encantaba.

Es a raíz del covid, que explotaron varios vídeos foodies españoles, mucha gente comenzó a seguir a este tipo de canales. Aumentaron sus visualizaciones, aumentaron sus suscriptores, etc. Al igual que otros que he reseñado y siendo este parte de ese grupo, su canal estaba teniendo un éxito y ahora lo está disfrutando. Lo que me empuja a recomendar su canal de viajes es que ha añadido algo nuevo. Bueno, al menos a sus últimos vídeos. Me interesó mucho cuando visitó El Cecot, la cárcel de Bukele. Lo hizo desde su canal principal. Otros youtubers hispanohablantes ya la han visitado, pero el vídeo documental de Dalmau fue muy interesante. Creo que era necesario entrar en temas más serios y para mí lo ha conseguido.

Dalmau dejó muy claro en un vídeo antes de empezar la serie, que mostraría la realidad y de momento hay dos vídeos muy buenos. Dalmau me ha sorprendido con este estilo de vídeos en su canal de viajes. Ya no sólo va de turista, visitando hoteles, lugares lujosos, entretenimiento. Ahora aborda temas importantes, de impacto social y político. Tiene millones de suscriptores en su canal principal, es muy conocido y su mensaje llegará a muchos. Creo que es muy importante que alguien con ese nivel de alcance en las redes sociales decida tocar temas delicados.
