The other day, I saw the initiative this community YouHive has proposed for this month.
Firstly, to clarify that I am not really good at reviewing the videos of content creators, and I don't usually consume a lot of YouTube videos. I guess the lack of time contributed to it and when I am behind the screen, that is usually for Hive. However, this theme, which is humour, immediately got my interest. Not that I can become good at reviews with this theme haha, but there are a few videos that came into my mind after seeing the proposed theme.
Secondly, I want to explain the choice of these photos to accompany this post. Photos from a beach and a little story for a humorous video I am going to share here? Where is the connection? 🤷♀
That's life. The connection is the word life. We can't deny that water is the source of it, of our precious life and of all our ancestors and our descendants that will feel the same when their turn comes. Now that we are not living just two streets from the beach anymore, we appreciate the time spent by the sea more. It gives back the smiles, calmness and good mood, which are important in our lives! We can even decide to go to the beach (the closest ones are now about a 30-minute drive from us) when there is an electricity outage at home, to forget about the issues.
It was Tuesday; I was not feeling very well for the whole morning, and to top it all off, the power went off in the early afternoon. Something broke in a street electrical transformer two streets from ours, and it affected our building too, so my husband suggested going to the beach instead of sitting in the apartment where we can't even switch on the air conditioning.
We got ready in a few minutes; I used a tiny compass to guide us to the beach, our car went without refuelling, and we listened to Christmas songs in the car. All this could seem a bit strange or funny, but believe me, it was how it happened. And our feet also changed their shape. Well, that was strange, actually. Could these footprints in the sand serve as proof? 😂
But that's life... Oh, wait, the video!!!
Finally, we are arriving at the point to share the video I find funny for this initiative. I laughed again while watching it now, several times. 😂 We are singing here about a special topic... life. 😁
I have shared in one of my posts a similar video of The Umbilical Brothers; If I am not mistaken it was in one of my SpreadTheVibes posts, a long time ago, and the video I shared there was a similar stage show but in their slightly different performance. On this occasion, I opted for this one.
You see, they are not musicians, but the guy can actually sing! All that mixed with acting and making the audience laugh is something I appreciate in their work. We could say that being an artist or humorist is easy, just being silly on the stage and that's it... However, I think it also goes with quite a lot of practice.
It is probably an advantage if you understand English well to have fun while watching this video, but even if not, it is relatively easy to understand because of the mimics and gestures they use to express the humorous messages. These Australian humourists use no other background music or effects, just their voice amplified with a microphone. And of course, their genius.
I have seen one of their videos for the first time around 10 years ago when a friend of mine shared with us this video in particular:
Since then, we have seen so many of their stage shows on YouTube. I hope you guys will also get a few funny moments while watching them in this initiative. And I must not forget one detail: the guidelines say that we should invite at least two other Hivers to participate. , as I know that he likes funny videos, even though they don't always match my sense of humour and
, as I am sure that Spain also has its funny and entertaining humourists that would be nice to meet here.
