Hoy estoy emocionada porque es mi primera vez escribiendo un post para esta comunidad, además de que la iniciativa de Videos Musicales es una excelente manera de poder recordar esos momentos que pasamos de adolescencia y de juventud viendo a nuestros cantantes y grupos favoritos en la televisión. Me gustaría aprovechar la ocasión para invitar a mis amigas 
Hello friends of the YouHive community, I hope you are doing great. Today I'm excited because it's my first time writing a post for this community, plus the Music Videos initiative is a great way to remember those moments we spent as teenagers and young adults watching our favorite singers and bands on TV. I'd like to take this opportunity to invite my friends
Para comenzar me gustaría poder hablar de esos tiempos en los que la música era de mis cosas favoritas por ver en la televisión, recuerdo siempre haber visto el canal MTV cuando tenía programas donde pasaban horas de videos musicales, la mayoría eran en ingles y con el tiempo fueron agregando cantantes de Latinoamérica. Recuerdo que mis hermanos y yo disfrutábamos tanto de poder compartir algunos gustos musicales, sin mi hermano y hermana no hubiera sido lo mismo vivir esas tardes de música y de buena compañía.
To begin with I would like to talk about those times when music was one of my favorite things to watch on TV, I remember always watching MTV channel when they had programs where they showed hours of music videos, most of them were in English and with time they added Latin American singers. I remember that my siblings and I enjoyed so much to be able to share some musical tastes, without my brother and sister it would not have been the same to live those afternoons of music and good company.
El primer video que recuerdo haber visto fue Sin Despertar de la banda Kudai, está fue una de las mejores bandas en español que escuche en sus inicios y que hasta el día de hoy aún sigo escuchando su música con la misma emoción. Recuerdo que me emocioné tanto con el ritmo y la letra, te hacía sentir esa vibra de libertad y de ser jóvenes con todas esas emociones que se sienten acorde a la edad. Sin Despertar fue el despertar de mi gusto por la música pop en español, además de que el video fue muy divertido y especial, recuerdo que me gustó tanto que me compraron el CD original llamado Vuelo donde venía está canción y muchas otras que también están muy buenas. Está banda es de los mejores recuerdos que tengo de mi adolescencia y de mi amor por la música.
The first video I remember watching was Sin Despertar by the band Kudai, this was one of the best Spanish bands I listened to in their beginnings and to this day I still listen to their music with the same emotion. I remember that I got so excited with the rhythm and the lyrics, it made you feel that vibe of freedom and of being young with all those emotions that you feel according to your age. Sin Despertar was the awakening of my taste for pop music in Spanish, plus the video was very funny and special, I remember that I liked it so much that they bought me the original CD called Vuelo where this song and many others that are also very good were included. This band is one of the best memories I have of my adolescence and my love for music.
Como solía pasar en MTV música en inglés, recuerdo haber visto por primera vez un vídeo de la cantante Gwen Stefani y su canción 4 in the morning. No sé cuántas veces he escuchado esta canción pero es que es demasiado buena y la melodía se queda en tu mente luego de escucharla, además de que Gwen tiene una voz increíble y una forma única de interpretar sus canciones. Está canción en específico me hacía sentir como si estuviera flotando en una nube, realmente habla sobre el amor hacia alguien especial y el video demuestra la belleza de Gwen y su manera mágica de robar corazones con sus canciones, que tiene varias dentro de el album donde viene esta canción también muy chéveres.
As it used to happen on MTV music in English, I remember seeing for the first time a video of the singer Gwen Stefani and her song 4 in the morning. I don't know how many times I've listened to this song but it's just too good and the melody stays in your mind after listening to it, plus Gwen has an amazing voice and a unique way of interpreting her songs. This specific song made me feel like I was floating on a cloud, it really talks about love for someone special and the video shows the beauty of Gwen and her magical way of stealing hearts with her songs, she has several songs in the album where this song is included that are also very cool.
No puede faltar que salga mi lado fangirl cuando se trata de hablar de Taylor Swift, ella es una de las cantantes que tengo más tiempo escuchando además de otros del mismo género pop. Creo que para todos fue una gran revelación conocerla a través de uno de sus videos más vistos con la canción You belong with me, esta canción muestra el lado más romántico de Taylor y su inicio dentro del mundo de la música que la llevaría hacia un gran camino recorriendo géneros y escribiendo nuevas letras. Con este video quede encantada con su forma de contar una historia de amor adolescente y casi imposible, me atrapó por completo y desde entonces soy una gran fanática de su música.
It can't be missing that my fangirl side comes out when it comes to talk about Taylor Swift, she is one of the singers that I have more time listening to besides others of the same pop genre. I think it was a great revelation for everyone to meet her through one of her most watched videos with the song You belong with me, this song shows the most romantic side of Taylor and her start in the world of music that would lead her to a great path through genres and writing new lyrics. With this video I was enchanted with her way of telling a story of adolescent love and almost impossible, it caught me completely and since then I am a big fan of her music.
En la época de Tumblr recuerdo que estaba muy de moda escuchar un estilo de música muy underground, habían distintos artistas nuevos que se volvieron famosos y que sus fanáticos usaban esta plataforma para subir contenido de sus vidas y de la música que iban sacando. Así fue como conocí a una de las artistas más versátiles que con su álbum Electra Heart logro que muchos nos sintieramos emocionados por Marina and The Diamonds, ella con su voz particular y su estilo único en este album hizo que se convirtiera en uno de mis favoritos de la época del 2010 y que fuera casi una adicción escucharlo diariamente. Una de mis canciones favoritas entre tantas fue Primadonna que cuenta con un vídeoclip lleno de inspiración sobre una mujer que desea comerse al mundo, es una canción que hasta el día de hoy me anima y me hace querer llegar a escucharla en vivo algún día.
At the time of Tumblr I remember that it was very fashionable to listen to a very underground style of music, there were different new artists who became famous and their fans used this platform to upload content of their lives and the music they were releasing. That's how I met one of the most versatile artists that with her album Electra Heart made many of us feel excited about Marina and The Diamonds, she with her particular voice and her unique style in this album made it become one of my favorites of 2010 and it was almost an addiction to listen to it daily. One of my favorite songs among many was Primadonna which has a video clip full of inspiration about a woman who wants to eat the world, it is a song that to this day encourages me and makes me want to get to hear it live someday.
Fue muy emocionante recordar aquellas canciones que marcaron parte de mi juventud y que me hicieron sentir feliz de poder disfrutarlas, algo que amo de la música es que sin importar el tiempo que pueda pasar, cuando vuelves a escuchar tus canciones favoritas te sientes como si fuera la primera vez que lo haces y por eso es una de mis formas favoritas de disfrutar de mi tiempo, escuchar música que llena el alma y da sentido a la vida. 😍
It was very exciting to remember those songs that marked part of my youth and that made me feel happy to be able to enjoy them, something I love about music is that no matter how much time may pass, when you go back to listen to your favorite songs you feel as if it was the first time you do it and that's why it is one of my favorite ways to enjoy my time, listening to music that fills the soul and gives meaning to life. 😍
