Dani Hoyos, much more than Mandalas / Dani Hoyos, mucho más que Mandalas

     I've always loved drawing, ever since I was in school, and I always illustrated all my homework, whether the teacher told me to or not, because I love drawing and coloring. Today I want to talk about one of the first YouTubers I followed ever since, and still do. I've seen her growth, and she taught me a valuable lesson by her example. She's the Mexican Dani Hoyos.

      Dani Hoyos is a YouTuber and influencer who rose to fame on the platform and stood out for her original content for her time. She has been on the platform since 2013, primarily creating content about art, doodles, mandalas, zentangles, and many tutorials, with a very positive energy and personality. And while there are many creators in that niche today, when she started and grew, she was innovative and original, at least for Spanish speakers.

     Dani Hoyos es una Youtuber e Influencer que se dio a conocer en esa plataforma y destacó por su contenido original para su época, ella está en esa plataforma desde el 2013, y principalmente creaba contenido sobre arte, doodles, mándalas, zentangles y muchos tutoriales, con una energía y personalidad muy positiva. Y aunque hoy hay muchos creadores de ese nicho, cuando ella comenzó y fue creciendo fue innovadora y original, por lo menos para los de habla hispana.

      The art style that Dani Hoyos teaches can be defined as a fun combination or fusion of Doodling, Mandala art, and Zentangle, with a strong focus on free creativity and what we want to express individually. I say this because although there are rules or standards of perfection in those types of art (mandalas and zentangles), Dani encourages the freedom to create them with our own unique style, moving away from the traditional rigidity they may have, because the important thing is to express ourselves and have fun.

      Little by little, Dani's channel grew, and she began to make murals in offices and important companies, she was invited to many corporate events, to collaborate with other YouTubers, to collaborate with well-known brands, and together with her we have seen how her workshop changes location each time, improving and growing, and she also shares with us some things about her life, where we can see that she never strays from her art style and tastes.

Digo esto porque aunque hay reglas o estándares de perfección en esos tipos de arte (mandalas y zentangles), Dani fomenta la libertad de hacerlos con nuestro estilo único, se aleja de la rigidez tradicional que pueden tener, porque lo importante es expresarnos y divertirnos.
     Poco a poco el canal de Dani fue creciendo, y comenzó a hacer murales en oficinas y compañías importantes, la invitaban a muchos eventos corporativos, a hacer colaboraciones con otros youtubers, a hacer colaboraciones con marcas reconocidas, y junto a ella hemos visto como su taller cambia de lugar cada vez mejorando y creciendo, y también nos comparte algunas cositas de su vida, donde podemos ver que nunca se aleja de su estilo de arte y gustos.

      Dani has a very passionate and positive style of communication and personability. I've been following her for years, and I love her for who she is. She's currently 40 years old, although she doesn't look it, and she's always been friendly and charismatic, but with a somewhat childish or tender style, to put it mildly. But don't be fooled; she's actually very professional; she studied art, is bilingual, and became independent at a young age. She's married and pregnant with her first baby.

      Something she taught me that is very valuable to me is that creativity has no limits and our authenticity is our greatest strength, that we must believe in ourselves without filters, with our personal tastes, and do what we love, that will lead us to do what we love in the best way, to do it better every time. With her example, I have understood that IT IS NOT WHAT WE KNOW, BUT WHAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF DOING WITH WHAT WE KNOW If we believe in ourselves, we prepare ourselves and we are constant, we will achieve many things. Who would have said that her ability to make Mandalas would take her so far?

! [Spanish version]      Dani tiene un estilo muy apasionado y positivo de comunicarse y de ser, tengo muchos años siguiéndola y me encanta como es. Ella tiene actualmente 40 años, aunque no los aparenta, y siempre ha sido simpática y carismática, pero con un estilo algo aniñado o tierno por decirlo de alguna forma. Pero no te confundas realmente es muy profesional, estudió Arte, es bilingüe, y se independizó desde joven. Está casada y embarazada de su primer bebé.
     Algo que me enseñó muy valioso para mí, es que la creatividad no tiene límites y nuestra autenticidad es nuestra mayor fortaleza, que debemos creer en nosotros sin filtros, con nuestros gustos personales, y hacer lo que nos gusta, eso nos llevará a hacer lo que nos gusta de la mejor forma, a hacerlo mejor cada vez. Con su ejemplo he entendido que NO ES LO QUE SABEMOS, SINO LO QUE SOMOS CAPAZ DE HACER CON LO QUE SABEMOS Si creemos en nosotros, nos preparamos y somos constantes, lograremos muchas cosas. ¿Quién diría que su habilidad para hacer Mandalas la llevaría tan lejos?

      Dani has taken his art to the next level, creating a section on his channel called I PAINT YOUR WALL, where he literally paints the walls of celebrities, friends, and even the offices of Google and YouTube Mexico; always collaborating with well-known brands.

      Currently, she's expanding her skills and creating resin beauties—many useful and very cute objects bursting with color and sparkle—which she also sells in her shop. She also teaches art classes to children at her school or art studio. This is a great example of how to capitalize on what we know to make it productive and successful.

     Actualmente, está ampliando sus habilidades y creando bellezas en resina, muchos objetos útiles y muy tiernos, con explosión de colores y brillos, los cuales también vende en su tienda. Además, también da clases de arte a los niños en sus escuela o taller de arte. Así es un gran ejemplo de cómo capitalizar lo que sabemos, para hacerlo productivo y exitoso.
