It is a bit of a drizzling Sunday. You know the one where you need tons of coffee to start up, and maybe then you still even aren't starting. The one where you want to stay in your jammies al day, and you look at your computer which has tons of stuff for you to study....and you just shove it away.
Even the dog looks like he doesn't really want to participate today, and while walking it seemed to take forever because he was looking back the whole time to just head inside.
Yeah that kind of day. So you just curl up under your little blanket and put on some damn chill music. That is about the point where we have ended up now. And I ended up with 'Four Tet'
Two Thousand and Seventeen
According to Wikipedia this British guy his original name is Kieran Hebden and is mostly known for his collaberations with other artists, but these are the things that I know his music from.
This first song is an absoute banger of chillness. Coming from the album 'New Energy' ( this is actually never even knew, the song just always dropped by in my playlists coming from suggestions. AI is good for something right?)
Listening to this song starting so chill, just thinking about that a starting a fire and listening to this song would also be in place it builds up layer by layer and just keeps getting more interesting. My suggestion? Listen this with some noise cancellers on, because it deserves all of your attention.
Lush
All of the songs from Four Tet have this kind of vibe from all over the world it feels. As if the instruments (synths) are coming from a part with sounds that I am not that familiar with.
Listening to 'Lush' there is also this kinds of vibe in there. Do not expect that much apart from a lot of layers in the song, but it feels like just time is passing. And that might just be the charming part of it. It keeps going and going and that is just perfect for under your little blanket curled up on this sunday with your coffee.
Daughters
What I just mentioned by the previous song about Four Tet using sounds from all of the world might even apply to the song 'Daughters' even more. With the not-understable vocals coming back over and over the vocals are the highlight and the tone of the song. Sure you get some extra depth in there because some extra synths are coming in, but the vocals make it. And that is what just makes the song....It stays right there and keeps you in place
Maybe that is exactly it for a lazy sunday morning with the sounds of harps coming in. You want something to stay a bit in place and not move that much. You want something to just keep going and going without putting that much effort in there. But when you want to hear something more, that you can find it.
That is how a Sunday morning with a coffee should be. Find your easy sunday morning as well
