This is another bit from the private seller, I got me a bunch of these lunar dogs at $3 over spot(this was also back in September 2022 when spot was lower )
When I later on looked them up online,I was like damn dawg that's a hella of a premium, and this price here is in USD 😮 I got a bunch of them from him, from what I gather he gets bulk batches of silver in various forms , most likely from jewelers and pawnshop that may try to auction off stuff to try and get above melt value, he was mentioning he usually sells it in bulk too but I was picking out pieces and rightfully so since I did find some fakes among the collection, really bad ones too that are attacted to a magnet, but I checked each piece to make sure it can pass the test on my sigma metal verifier, some items did not pass that may have been genuine and the reason I say this is because the metal verifier was not really designed for things outside coins and bars and even then some samples may be too small or thin.
