A short time ago our Community Curation Project hit its HIVE Power Target....and some extra on top. After the great success of the SGS Monster Raffle Fundraiser we were able to take on some extra HIVE Power leases, which we’ve been doing for the last couple of months. Originally I’d set the HIVE Power target to be 350K but we’ve been able to overshoot to 360K. I’ve since done the math and reckon we should be able to sustain ALL those extra leases until March 2024, maybe even a bit beyond if our Curation Rewards keep pace.
We do still have a Power Down in place to pay those Weekly Delegation Payments and so we will probably drop back below 360K when the next Power Down happens later today. The main reason I wanted to make this post today was to let people know that we’ve taken on the extra power that we wanted and won’t be seeking any extra HIVE Power leases for now.
A huge thanks to everyone who did decide to lease our Precious the extra HIVE Power and also to DLease for facilitating. I am personally very happy to see a good number of our longer term community members now building up some stake in HIVE and putting it to good use by delegating to our Community Curation Project for a great return. This has been a very positive development that helps to diversify and decentralize our project supports as well as establish a credible and reliable investment option for our members that are working hard to build up their HIVE stake.
