I normally don't buy 1 gram silver because the premiums are so expensive. When you have an Amazon gift card left over from Christmas and are at a loss of what to use it on, then the idea is a bit more tempting. I can now say I own some gram silver rounds.
After a short amount of searching, I came across this listing from Mint State Gold.
Even if you don't factor in taxes, $28.87 for 10g of silver amounts to paying the equivalent of $89.79 per troy ounce! (28.87 ÷ 10 = 2.887 × 31.1 = 89.7857)
The stock picture had some interesting designs and I figured it might be an interesting thing to include for future giveaways as a small bonus, so why not? As a bonus, they were eligible for Prime, and I had them in no time!
They came in a little plastic bag, inside of a nice little pouch. From an initial glance, one design has Abraham Lincoln on it, and the other has the American buffalo design on it.
According to my Sigma Metalytics, Mr. Lincoln is .999 fine silver, just as advertised. We're off to a good start!
I'll be posting a couple of these at a time due to their size. I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise and review them all at once. 😉
Stay tuned for upcoming posts on what I got!
