I picked this up at an online auction in Kentucky U.S.A. The silver content is only 50%, but still thought it was a cool coin to pick up for my collection.
The 1922 United Kingdom Half Crown is a coin that was minted in the United Kingdom during the reign of King George V. The coin had a face value of two shillings and sixpence, or half a crown, which based on what I gathered from some Google-ese, was equal to about .60 USD at the time.

REVERSEThe reverse side of the coin features a crowned shield, with the three lions in the top left and bottom right quarters, a lion in the top right quarter to which my understanding represents Scotland, and a harp in the bottom left quarter to that to my understanding represents Ireland. The shield is surrounded by a ribbon and is flanked by the denomination "HALF CROWN" on either side toward the bottom, with the date "1922" appearing at the very bottom. The inscription "FID: DEF: IND: IMP:" appears in a semi-circle above the shield, which stands for "Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India," and the motto "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" appears on a ribbon outside the shield, which translates to "Shame on he who thinks evil of it."
