Continuing with this series of nocturnal animal stamps, first up we have the 6 cent “Red Fox”, these creatures can be found typically wondering nationwide, not in any one particular region. Probably wouldn’t want to run into him in the nighttime. Second is the “Skunk”. If you ever see one of these, you wanna header in the opposite direction, and fast! Much like the fox, they can be found nationwide, except in the very northern parts. Lastly the 5 cent Hare, looks like a rabbit you say? Yes, but the Hare is larger and faster than a typical rabbit. Like the other two, the Hare can be found pretty much anywhere nationwide.
Canada’s dollar is known as the “Loonie”, worth $1 in Canadian funds, however seeing as our currency is weak, the Loonie is worth about 69 cents US — sad. From time to time, the mint will release a special Loonie depicting an event past or coming up. Back in 2010, the Winter Olympics were held in Vancouver, which gave way to issuing this Olympic coin, but still only worth a dollar though. Thanks for stopping by.
