FIAT, SILVER & PRE FEDERATION NOTES

Way back in 2012 I found this gem of a briefcase at an auction.

It seemed to echo my interest in Silver, FIAT, and Pre Federation Notes (Australian), at the time.

I was buying individual items but started to steer towards items that come within a folder.

Here, being in a briefcase, all James Bondish, I ended up winning with my bid - I really had no idea what I had purchased.

What I received was a beautiful briefcase.
Within which, was beige padding which protected a Black Folder.

Inside the Folder were Silver Coins.

The coins having the portraits of many recent history leaders & tokens/gifts/coat of arms, 56 coins.

I've had them locked away for 11 years.
Bringing it to light with the intention to sell it - it doesn't fit my current collection focus.

Certificate

The Certificate of Authenticity is quite interesting.

With the help of Google Translate, I have NO 06549 out of 8000.

Booklet

There is also a booklet containing stamped "honour" certificates, as well as, some historic pictures symbolising the relations between countries.

Here, the Chinese commemorate their introduction into APEC, strategically, emphasising China, together with Chinese Taiwan, & Chinese Hong Kong.

The Coins

The coins are beautiful and cover a range of leaders which were in many of my learnings as a child.

Yasar Arafat, Fidel Castro, and Tito, amongst many others.

Stalin, and the infamous, Nixon.

Even, Australia's own, Bob Hawke!
