In the last post I wrote about the coin with Tito's image which was issued on the occasion of his 85th birthday
And of course Tito himself was on many coins, especially when they were commemorating the victory in World War II
Whatever opinion we have about Tito, he was a world and European figure who marked an era.
This coin I am about to present to you is actually a commemorative medal.
And it is rarer to find than circulating coins.
That's why I decided to buy it
It's not big, it's not expensive, but it's a rare coin.
I bought it on a local online numismatics site.
I would say it wasn't exactly well kept.
you can see small scratches on both sides.
And the high percentage of silver in the coin itself, 0.925, probably helped too.
There are two types of these coins, one is 3 grams and the other is 5. The one I bought is 3 grams.
The coin itself is engraved with 925, which is a mark for the amount of silver.
and ZM which is a mark where it was minted, which is the Majdanpek goldsmith's. ( Zlatara Majdanpek)
