The family went on a road trip eastward through the Rocky Mountains to the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. There were a couple Beck Gold bullion shops I wanted to visit while we were there.
Rocky Mountains
There are a lot of beautiful mountain, valley, forest, and lake views while driving through the Rocky Mountains.
Mountain Goats
On the east side of the Rocky Mountains, the Alberta side, there are many speed limit slow downs due to frequent goats, elk, and other wild life.
It is usually obvious where the wild life is, many cars will pull over and stop for a closer look - sure enough some goats had just crossed the road, you never know when one may decide to steer the herd back into the road, it's best to be cautious.
Edmonton Skyline
We visited my aunt and cousins on the south east side of the city - so afterwards we approached downtown Edmonton, Alberta Canada from the south for this skyline view.
Beck Gold Bullion
We stayed at the hotel at the West Edmonton Mall, it's North and West of the downtown. Beck Gold bullion has one of their locations in the mall, they were one of my first destinations (BeckGold.com). The store front features the Zoltar fortune machine that was in the movie Big, classic.
West Edmonton Mall Beck Gold
Sterling Silver Coinage
They didn't have bullion at the mall location when I was there, they did let me know that there was gold and silver bullion available at their downtown location. The mall outlet focussed more on collectibles although they would purchase bullion at this location. They pay spot for gold and silver by weight. I did manage to find these sterling silver (92.5% silver) international coinage pieces for 12% over spot, so with the sterling it made it more like 19.5% premium, good enough.
The international coinage they seem to refer to as postage, it's fitting that one of them is shaped like a stamp - I'll dole these coins out in future posts.

Downtown Edmonton Beck Gold
After two nights at the mall I checked out the downtown Beck Gold location on the way out of town. They have decent bullion prices here, cheaper than online for the silver. The gold was 5% over spot purchasing atleast 1/2 ounce, the silver was 12% over spot - they pay spot if you're selling.
Silver 1oz Bars
I picked up a few sunshine silver 1oz coins, a couple collectible junk silver coins, four buffalo 1oz bars, four sunshine 1oz bars, and one rando 1oz silver bar.
Satisfied with the bullion purchases, it was a fun trip to the city - it was back on the road, headed westward through the Rocky Mountains.
Fine and sterling silver additions to the stack and collection.
