Walking Liberty half dollar
The Walking Liberty half dollar is another classic coin - originally minted by the United States Mint from 1916 to 1947. The original 50-cent piece coin was 90% silver / 10% copper, with a 30.63mm diameter, a 1.8mm thickness, and a weight of 12.5 grams. The coin was designed by a sculptor and engraver named Adolph A. Weinman. The Walking side features Lady Liberty walking to the left with her right arm outstretched, and the left arm cradling one olive branch. The sun is at the bottom left, shining behind her, the American flag draped over her shoulder. The text "LIBERTY" stretches along the outside curve of the upper half of the coin. To the right of the Lady are the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" - the bottom of the coin has the text "SMI", Sunshine Mint logo.
Eagle Side differences
The Eagle side of this Sunshine Mint pure silver remake is very different from the original half dollar. The original Walking Liberty eagle Side of the coin has the eagle moving to the left, with the US motto text "E PLURIBUS UNUM" to the left of the eagle. The original bottom of the eagle side only has the text "HALF DOLLAR". The original also doesn't have the stars above the eagle, or the mint mark in the center.
Eagle Side remake

The eagle is clutching an olive branch with one clutch, six arrows with the other. There are thirteen stars above the eagle, and the text "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" along the outside curve of the top half of the coin. The bottom half of the coin has the text "ONE TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER".
