I am a huge fan of world coins that contain silver and gold, and a few have come to my attention recently. I am a fan of junk silver coins and wanted to add to my growing collection. Two awesome South American coins thar caught my eye include the 1/10 Balboa from Panama and the 1 Pesos Mexican coin. Below are some pictures of these great collectibles.
This is a 1958 1 Pesos Mexican coin. It is 10% silver, and it's a beautiful coin. These coins contained 10% silver from 1957-1967 and shine. The coin is in great shape despite its age.
This is a Panamanian 1/10 Balboa from 1961. This amazing coin is 90% silver and done incredibly well.
As you can see, it's really hard to adequately capture this coin face on camera. It's a lustrous 90% silver and shines. These coins contained silver until 1973 and can be found online fairly easily.
I am a huge fan of both coins and am collecting them. I can get them between $4-6 and am pursuing them online. Excellent coins for stacking silver.
