Perth Mint is introducing its new portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, which will be featured in the Kangaroo, Kookaburra, Koala, and several other collections for the first time in the programs' histories. The Australian Kookaburra is the first significant collection to be introduced with Charles III's effigy.

An additional feature exclusive to Perth Mint's 2024 releases is the P125 mint mark, which commemorates the company's 125th anniversary of foundation in 1899.
The left-profile bust of Charles III is in the obverse side of the 2024 Australian Silver Kookaburra. Charles III is depicted here to be the opposite of that of his mother, the late Elizabeth II. The absence of a crown, which was a regular practice for male rulers beginning in the 20th century, is another significant alteration to the monarchy design.

One of the world's most popular silver coins is without a doubt the Australian Silver Kookaburra. Together with the Silver Eagle, Silver Maple Leaf, and Silver Britannia, it occupies a distinguished place. The Silver Kookaburra stands out from similar collections because it consistently uses fresh reverse representations of the kookaburra.
The 2024 (and 2023) silver coins and rounds I have featured so far are:
2024 Australian Silver Kookaburra Coin 2023 Tuvalu 1 oz Silver Black Flag: The Fancy 2024 Somali Silver Elephant 2024 Australian Silver Lunar Dragon 2024 Asahi Lunar Dragon
I will be featuring the 2024 Silver World Coins and silver rounds as I come across them in this segment of my blog, just as I have done so in years past.
The other segments of my blog are Vintage Silver, my attempt to stack fourth of an ounce American Gold Eagles, Other Gold Coins, Prospector Silver Rounds, and Other Silver. I add to my stack US Constitutional Coins, which are always a given. It will be discussed as time permits. Hand-poured silver is out of my price range at this time, but I surely will feature three or four hand-poured silvers within this year.
