If you’ve been around poured silver for a while, you know the makers usually leave some kind of mark.
Sometimes it’s a simple stamp. Sometimes it’s a combination of initials, symbols, or even a quirky little logo that only makes sense once you know the pourer’s style.
Each pourer has their own way of marking a piece... little details that set their work apart. The marks might be small, but they usually tell you who made what. They’re often the best clue you’ve got when you’re trying to trace a round back to the person who poured it.
That’s really the part I enjoy most. Tracking down a pourer feels a bit like working a small puzzle... comparing textures, trying to match a style you’ve seen somewhere before. One detail leads to another, and before you know it, you’re digging through old pours and long‑retired makers just to see if something lines up.
