I have but a few gold bars, and they are all tiny.
My favorite gold bar is the
1989 90th Anniversary of Perth Mint
1/4 OZ Gold Ingot -Mintage 8000 - .2512 AGW
This is the 1/4 oz ingot that was issued with the 1989 Nugget Set from Perth Mint of Australia.

Dimensions - 7/8" X 1" X 3/16"
Individually serial numbered
Perth Mint Swan Logo
.67 oz of .375 fine gold
.67 oz. x .375 fine = 0.2512 actual gold weight.
It’s not the biggest bar (althought it's the biggest gold bar in my collection, lol)... it’s a small bar with a big presence. It’s a commemorative piece that doesn’t feel overdone.
I appreciate the size. It’s substantial enough to feel meaningful, but compact enough that it doesn’t try to be more than it is.
It’s straightforward, it’s rare enough to matter, and it represents a real milestone for a mint that has earned its reputation.
That’s why it’s my favorite gold bar.
