Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Or at least to all of you who celebrate the holiday. I must profess that I am not really celebrating it myself this year as I am currently very single and happy! However, for all of you in a relationship I hope you have a great day. Back when I was married I used to do the obligatory flowers and romantic dinner, it sure got to be expensive fast!
What I should have done is just given the gift of gold. Okay, I've done that before in the form of jewelry, also very expensive. Today I came across this cool little alternative, a one gram gold Coca-Cola bar made by PAMP in Switzerland. I think it's pretty awesome:

Now that is the kind of Valentine's gift I would like to receive! It is however $235 and sold out pretty everywhere. But talk about a cool holiday gift! But for those who find the gold alternative a little too expensive, I found a silver alternative!
Coca-Cola is really going all in on the precious metals for this Valentine's Day! They also have authorized this silver round that comes sealed in a custom case to ensure it's tamper free. I am the first to admit I'm not a big fan of colorized silver, and to be honest I don't love this one. I would much rather see in imprinted or stamped onto the silver. But that is also more expensive to produce, and they were probably looking to maximize profits...

This comes at $96.13, still a bit expensive considering silver is at $77 right now. But I would never say no to the gift of Coca-Cola silver! This is more affordable than the gold, but not nearly as cool... In my personal opinion anyway!
Does anyone have any big plans for tonight? Feel free to share and possibly inspire someone else to enjoy the holiday. I won't be doing anything special myself, I do have some swordfish steaks that I might throw on the grill. That stuff tastes great! I would probably prefer a nice Porterhouse Steak, but the fish is healthier for the old heart. I guess you have to eat healthy as much as possible... At least that's what my doctor tells me... lol
