Opening some Dutch mail
Above you can see that my cat Maesi was very curious about the contents of the box that arrived some week ago. I was waiting for two different packages at the time and I didn't know which one I was opening but it became clear immediately after I saw the Dutch newspaper inside which you can see writes "Kings day programs" but in Dutch. This was the package I expected from .
Contents
I will divide the contents into a few posts and today I will show you the Silver Buffalo I bought. This one is bought just for the silver content, I don't particular love this design but it's silver so I'm happy to add a new piece to the collection. I went to Numista to check for the Silver buffalo options that I could find there to add to my collection and found out that there are many varieties of this coin which I, as a newbie know nothing about. Endless browsing and comparing them, lead me to think I found it.
1 oz Silvertown e Mint Buffalo, no date
I believe this is the one I've bought from , but correct me if I'm wrong, please.
Let's first check the pictures:
And the other side:
I could not make anything of the text so I tried taking a macro picture:
Aha, it's Latin. I think if I translated it correctly it says "Out of many, one".
Another one for the collection
So as I mentioned I don't have a personal story or reason for this purchase, so the post is probably not as interesting as one with a story to share. BUT it adds another piece of silver to the collection. What's not to love, right?
Silver Raffle!!!
Now that I'm an official member of the Silver Gold Stackers community on Hive, I feel that I should add this bit of information to this post because we have a new silver raffle coming up soon! The details are not released yet, BUT it's coming to you soon!!!
Although I've known about the raffles longer, I only participated by buying tickets last year for the first time to support the community as well as hoping to win some shiny stuff. Sadly I didn't win but now that I'm a member, I will most definitely try my luck again.
Everyone can buy tickets to support the community, and with that, win a piece of the donations. Check out @buggedout's latest post, there will soon be an official update on the community account.
Inviting you to keep an eye out for this now that I know you love them shiny stuff too! :)
Everyone who wants to join can follow the updates and buy tickets to have a chance of winning a piece of the donations in the raffle. The numbers will be drawn in the Silver Gold Stackers discord. If you have something to donate, make sure to let it be known when the official announcement comes.
All pictures above are mine unless stated otherwise. The banner is from the Silver gold stackers community discord and doesn't need to be credited.
