We had exactly your reaction in mind, when we created the title "Introduce Your City"
for our community. You put it beautifully when you said:

I felt I was somewhat obligated to share the beauty, culture and history of the place that I'm currently residing in. It isn't my home country but a place that I've learned to call home.

We hope to welcome you and the outlook of your new home back many more times :o).

I didn't know, that Vietnam had a viable christian community with beautiful churches
as the Notre Dame Cathedral Church in Ho Chi Minh City. It warms my heart.
The lockdowns even for religious gatherings are a shame.
