The Gardens by the Bay is a popular venue for hosting festive events. At the moment, there’s the Chinese New Year celebrations – the “River Hongbao 2022”. There are nightly songs and dances performances, and these usually draw a big crowd.
I went there on an afternoon to see what sort of decors the Gardens have on this year. I didn’t stay for the shows. Not really my scene. I don’t like crowds at the best of times – not to mention there is a pandemic on at the moment. Best to avoid it at all costs.
Here are some photos of decors in the Gardens by the Bay – the most popular attraction in Singapore for tourists and locals alike.
This is everyone’s favourite god – the god of fortune! I gave him a wave and said hello to him. Hopefully, he will shower me with good fortune this year!
Looks like they are still setting up the stage.
This looks like a children's funfair.
A side view of the first picture - an installation of decors in the lake.
