Disseminating geological knowledge
Hello and good morning friends of the community after a long time without publishing here I wanted to make a brief writing about the Museum of Geology of Cuba, located in the Institute of Geology and Paleontology of Cuba in the province of Havana.
The museum is located at the Institute of Geology and Paleontology of Cuba, located at 1002 Vía Blanca Avenue, San Miguel del Padrón, Havana.
In the exhibition rooms you can see numerous collections of fossils and rocks associated with the different formations found in our country. The fossils that most caught my attention were the ammonites, a type of mollusk that is approximately 400 million years old.
I was also able to appreciate the effort made by the colleagues of the museum to maintain and conserve each of the collections and although it is not complete, it can be said that it has been one of the greatest achievements that the institution has had for the good of the community and the future.
I really enjoyed my visit to the museum, even though I have worked at the Institute for the first time a year ago, it was the first time I had visited the facility. So I invite not only to the members of the community but also to all those linked or not to the geosciences to have a pleasant afternoon in the company of the Geology of Cuba.
Without further ado this was my content today and I hope you liked it, thanks for reading and continue creating content in Hive.
