I am not a child.
But a child, of other children.
Don't call me one.
Because a child is cared for and loved for the way he is.
But if I need love, I must buy it.
Because I am a man.
I may be a child to you no doubt.
But since I take care of myself and others just to find love.
Why call me one?
I am no fan of Children's Day.
But call me one or celebrate it for me by giving me care and love without my money.
I am no fan of celebration.
I was not the one that made it so.
But, it was a higher being that designed it to be so.
Bless me for blessing.
Dance me for dancing.
Love me for no love.
My money for no money.
Treat as a child.
Treat me as one.
Love me without my money.
I am a poet that is so wealthy.
But love me, as if I have nothing.
So that, next year,
I might celebrate this day with you.
My voice has spoken.
A poet in poetry.
My honour via the honours of time.
For I said so.
The day is truly fast spent.
Welcome to the dawn of a new day.
