I drop down,
down through my body,
down to my feet.
I am walking and the sidewalk runs and the sidewalk ends with the street.
I feel this heat between my toes,
sands of the sea welcoming me.
The wash of the waves
tossing and tumbling
songs in my head.
I breathe,
breathe into my center,
bridge between earth and sky-
I walk in spirals and spins, turn out, turn in.
This stone sits,
poised,
under this seasons seagull shit,
and the sand,
only moved by grace of bodied life;
days sky changes from grey to grey-
all colours in between,
reflected in this moments spray of the sea,
dancing in the sky.
