Prompt A Day | Baby Bump

Today's word prompt: looks like a baby

The cover photo was taken more than a month ago. We thought that Mini d'cat was looking a bit too rounded around the belly. To me, it sure looked like a baby bump. However, I wasn't quite sure, because she certainly did not look as big as her mother cat, MingMing.

MingMing had two batches of kittens already. The first batch of kittens were the ones we adopted, Inni, Mini, Miny, and Mowe. Then, she had another batch of four kittens, but only two remain. I guess somebody took the other two kittens. We never found out who took them. I just hope they were given good homes.

The mystery of what looks like a baby bump was resolved when Mini d'cat decided to bring home her kittens. The above photo was taken a month ago. The three kittens, Grumpy, Bashful, and Playful are bigger now. They are still as playful and love running around the hallways.

When I took Mowe's photo last month, I thought her belly was rounded too. It sure looked like a baby bump.

True enough, Mowe had her kittens while we were on vacation. It was Mom who gave us the good news when we called her on video chat. The kittens are hidden away in a box at the moment. I did not dare take them out of the box, so pardon the dark photos. I will surely take nicer photos once they are big enough to get out of the box.
